5 Skechers That Look Like Birkenstocks (Comfier)

I’ve had several people come up to me and ask whether Skechers have sandals that look like Birkenstocks, particularly the Arizona sandals. Here are some options for men and women.

1. Skechers Arch Fit Granola – Desert Posy (Women’s)

The Arch Fit Granola – Desert Posy is a pair of Skechers sandals that look like the Birkenstock Arizona sandals, although it’s more cushioned and not as wide as a pair of Birkenstocks.

Just like a pair of Birkenstocks, these Skechers share the double strap, metal buckles, contoured footbed, and cork-style midsole trim that Birkenstock is known for.

The difference, however, is that these Skechers are equipped with supportive Arch Fit® contoured footbeds that mold to your foot to reduce shock and increase weight dispersion.

With sandal season coming right up, I highly recommend grabbing a pair of these while they’re still available. Honestly, I don’t see them staying in stock for long.

Ranging from women’s size 6-11, these are a total steal at their price.

I think the Skechers Arch Fit Granola – Desert Posy is a fantastic pair of women’s sandals with Birkenstock-like construction for a fraction of the price – a great steal.

2. Skechers Reggae – Jammin (Unisex)

Taking some inspiration from Birkenstock sandals, the Skechers Reggae – Jammin is a pair of men’s sandals that have cushioned footbeds and flexible, shock-absorbing midsoles.

I’ve worn Birkenstock Arizona sandals for years and loved them, but they would give me hard, cracked heels. These Skechers, on the other hand, pamper my feet in ways I never imagined.

I know these were once in style but I always consider them to be ugly.

Honestly, I bought these Skechers out of sheer desperation to find sandals that wouldn’t aggravate my plantar fasciitis any further so I wasn’t bound to sneakers all summer.

Unlike Birkenstocks, these Skechers are airy, not clunky, and have decent arch support. The footbeds are well-cushioned, in my opinion, which means I can walk for long hours.

The adjustable straps and rubber non-slip soles are great additions to a pair of versatile sandals, but the highlight of these Skechers is definitely the comfort they provide.

Are they attractive? Absolutely not. They’re super ugly. But they blow Birkenstocks out of the water in terms of sheer comfort and come in two neutral colors (black and desert).

3. Skechers Foamies Arch Fit – Cali Breeze 2.0 (Women’s)

The Cali Breeze 2.0 is Skechers’ version of the Birkenstock Arizona EVA sandals. Both are designed to be water-friendly sandals, are flexible and soft, and are perfect for the whole family.

These rubber two-strap sandals are perfect to wear at the pool or at home. However, keep in mind that these are medium-width sandals that are not too wide.

I don’t think these are meant for people with wide feet, so please buy wide sandals if you have wide feet because Skechers doesn’t offer wide options for those of you with wide feet.

When doing my research, I also realized that these Skechers aren’t actually cheaper than Birkenstocks. In fact, both sandals from both brands have a similar price.

This begs the question, which one should you buy?

For this particular model (EVA sandals), I recommend buying from Birkenstock. The reason is that Birkenstock specializes in sandals, whereas Skechers see sandals as bonus products.

The comfort level and quality of materials of the Birkenstock EVA sandals are better in my opinion. Skechers is not bad, but I’d go for the better one since the price is the same.

4. Skechers Foamies Cali Surf – Journey (Men’s)

The men’s version of Birkenstock’s EVA sandals is the Skechers Foamies Cali Surf – Journey. It’s a pair of water-friendly sandals made of EVA material that is perfect for summer.

I bought these to wear on the beach and boat because they are waterproof. Lo and behold, they are worth every penny because they fit nicely and are very comfortable.

The indents on the footbeds fit my feet perfectly and help me grip the sandals better.

I bought the black color because it’s neutral, but there are other colors like navy, white, charcoal, and camo, although I feel like the camo color should be a little darker (my preference).

In terms of price, these Skechers are similar to Birkenstocks. My advice is to try these sandals from Skechers and see if they fit you better than Birkenstocks. They are similar after all.

If you do buy these sandals, just be careful not to leave them out in the sun for too long. I left them on my deck for about 2 days and they shrunk because of the heat and sun.

5. Skechers Arch Fit Granola (Women’s)

The Skechers Arch Fit Granola is a pair of women’s sandals that look a lot like Birkenstock Arizona. Both sandals have cork midsoles that support your feet.

Just like a pair of Birkenstocks, these Skechers share the double strap, metal buckles, contoured footbed, and cork-style midsole trim that Birkenstock is known for.

In terms of color options, these cool and comfy two-strap sandals from Skechers come in two neutral shades — black and brown — making them perfect for everyday use.

My biggest issue is the strap material, which is of poor quality. They rub on the top of my girlfriend’s foot giving her blisters. I think they need to use a better material that is softer.

She has very high arches so “Arch Fit” sounded like it would be perfect. However, high arches also mean high instep, causing the strap to dig into the top of her foot, leaving a painful gash.

Although these Skechers cost a fraction of Birkenstock’s price, keep in mind that the material quality is not as good as the ones you’ll find on the famous Arizona sandals.
